skiing? nah... I was not good enough and it gets freakin cold in the mountains and the suits were too tight...

a banker? nope... in those days you needed to wear a suit and a tie....

but.... the magic moment happened when i was three years old and my grandma gave me a very special gift... a plastic golf club....

as Switzerland is famous for its "correctness", i had to practice 5 years "off-course" till i was allowed to play with my parents...

the passion for this great sport even lasted through puberty and that is when i knew it was my real thing.....

after high-school graduation in Davos, Switzerland, a dream came true: University of Stirling in Scotland (the birthplace of golf) to study and play golf (it was more golf than study...)

it was all worthwhile.... my game improved and i was honored to represent Europe twice at the Palmers Cup as well as at St. Andrews Trophy.

as an amateur, my biggest achievements were a 3rd place at the Swiss Challenge Tournament in 2014 and a 41st place at the European Tour in Crans Montana 2016.

then came the big decision in 2017 to go pro (not the camera) .... my first two years, i played mainly on the Golf Pro-Tour and some other tournaments... in 2019, i decided to play the Alps-Tour plus some Challenge and European Tour tournaments...

i have not reached the level that many might have expected from me but my vision and goal has not changed at all: in the contrary, i am more determined than ever to make it happen and will never give up on my dream... playing the European Tour and representing Europe at the Ryders Cup... till then, i will focus on my grand plan and take it as my mantra goes... one shot at a time...

thanks for stopping by...

Eggi
